Style in the City is a weekly round up of everything stylish from the fashion, health and beauty scene in Greater Manchester. Presenter Jemma Gofton will, yet again, be bringing you all the gossip from the glamorous events, top tips from the city’s style gurus and a peek into the lives of Manchester’s fashionistas.

Anyone who is style conscious will not want to miss their weekly fix of Style in the City.

1. Make sure you use a face cream with at least an spf of 15. Wrinkles are not a good look on anybody 2. Wear your sunnies as much as possible, not only do you look very sophisticated but it prevents you squinting. 3. For some reason designers think that it's ok to use see-through fabrics during the summer months, but trust me flashing your knickers on the bus isn't stylish. So as old fashioned as it sounds invest in some good old slips and underskirts. 4. If you don't need to dry and straighten your hair leave it. Your hair suffers enough in the heat without adding to it. 5. When it comes to style think european - flatties, cropped trousers, Linens and thin knits. They do it so much better than us!!
