Sports Central is an A to Z guide for the dedicated sports fan.

Meet the presenter

Claire Dixon

I am a former junior national cycling champion and represented GB at world junior level. I am now an athletics coach based at Sports City and want to encourage the people of Manchester to play sport. 'Sports Central' tries to put this message out and champions the regions sporting activities. Getting the chance to present this show is a dream come true.
